(major) Influences

Carl Rogers

My approach to being with others was validated and reinforced when I read of Carl Rogers and his 'way of being'.  'Unconditional Positive Regard' is my catch phrase of the century, because I live and breath this approach to all, and any of my relationships.

Dialectical Behavioural Therapy

I am part philosopher, part scientist, and part Family Systems Theorist.  So DBT fits and defines my personal theoretical framework perfectly.

Narrative Therapy

I naturally talk in metaphors, analogy, and abstract language when i am articulating my thoughts, so the Narrative approach has also validated and reinforced many of my therapeutic methods of communication with others.
